Job summary

American Iron & Metal is seeking a Site Supervisor to join our yard operations in Canada. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will lead daily activities, manage safety, productivity, and quality, and drive continuous improvement in processes.

You will set performance goals, organize workflows, monitor staff, maintain records, and collaborate with management to meet company objectives while upholding AIM's commitment to environmental responsibility and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as supervisor.
• Experience in metal scrap industry (asset).
• Knowledge of different commercial trucks and forklifts.
• Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Good knowledge of Outlook, MS Office, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel.
• Always strive for excellence and constant improvement.

They will respond effectively to quality and productivity and health and safety requirements. They will see to the planning of operations and collaborate with management to continuously optimize and improve processes.
