American Iron & Metal (AIM) is recruiting a Non-Ferrous Receiver for our Sudbury South location. Under supervision, you will maintain the yard, sort and move materials, assist with loading/unloading, and support yard staff.

We offer an hourly starting rate of CAD 25.75/hr plus overtime after 44 hours, full-time permanent employment with vacation, benefits, and an RRSP matching program, plus tuition scholarship opportunities for dependents.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience is required.
• Experience with metal recycling is an asset.
• Microsoft Office familiarity is an asset.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work up to 50 lbs.
• Retail customer service experience is preferred.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and team-oriented.
• Excellent attendance and safety record.

Responsabilités

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Non-Ferrous Receiver with experience for our Sudbury South location. Under the supervision of the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.

• Sort, move, and organize materials throughout the yard.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Support equipment operators and other yard personnel as needed.
• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other general labour duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating a forklift
• Experience in metal recycling as asset
• Experience with computer software and Microsoft office suite an asset
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Customer Service experience in a retail preferred
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
• Excellent attendance and safety record.
