Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a Site Superintendent with a strong background in institutional and commercial construction in the Greater Toronto Area. You will take ownership of day-to-day site operations, coordinate trades, monitor safety and quality, and ensure project execution aligns with schedules.

The role requires 7+ years of relevant construction experience, strong sequencing and leadership, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades while maintaining deadlines; a Gold

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction experience with demonstrated Superintendent experience.
• Municipal, educational, healthcare or similar institutional project experience.
• Strong knowledge of sequencing, drawings, building systems and site operations.
• Ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain demanding schedules.
• Gold Seal or construction-related education is an asset.

Responsibilities

SITE SUPERINTENDENT – ICI / INSTITUTIONAL CONSTRUCTION

Greater Toronto Area, ON

$125,000 – $155,000 + Benefits | Full-Time

Our client, an established General Contractor and Construction Management firm, is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent with a strong background delivering institutional and commercial construction projects.

The successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day site operations and be responsible for trade coordination, scheduling, safety, quality and overall project execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day construction activities on site
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and project stakeholders
• Develop and maintain construction schedules and short-term look-aheads
• Lead site meetings and coordinate upcoming work with trades
• Review drawings, specifications and construction documents
• Identify and resolve site issues while protecting the project schedule
• Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are maintained
• Manage site logistics, sequencing, deliveries and trade coordination
• Maintain a safe, organized and productive job site
• Coordinate inspections, deficiencies, commissioning and project turnover
• Maintain daily reports and communicate progress to the Project Manager

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction experience with demonstrated Superintendent experience
• Strong ICI / institutional construction background
• Experience delivering municipal, educational, healthcare, community, government or similar institutional projects
• General Contractor experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, drawings, building systems and site operations
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain demanding schedules
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
• Gold Seal or construction‑related education is considered an asset
