Job summary

Novacom Building Partners is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish in Vancouver, BC. You will be the on-site leader coordinating trades, solving problems in real time, and delivering high-quality projects on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction, ideally as a Site Superintendent.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada and reside in Greater Vancouver.
• Available for in-person site work and willing to travel to sites across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, SiteDocs, Smartsheet, MS Teams).

Responsibilities

• Lead Site Execution: oversee daily construction site activities and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery to high quality standards.
• Coordinate trades and suppliers, build strong relationships, resolve challenges quickly, and maintain progress.
• Collaborate with the PM team to align site execution with schedule, budget, and client expectations.
• Manage client communication as the on-site representative in meetings with architects and clients.
• Track documentation using Procore, SiteDocs, and other tools; manage reports, schedules, change orders, and cost tracking.
• Monitor budgets by identifying efficiencies and providing regular financial updates to leadership.

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. You will be the on-site leader responsible for coordinating trades, solving problems in real time, and delivering high-quality projects on time and on budget. What You'll Do

• Lead Site Execution: Oversee daily construction site activities and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate Trades & Suppliers: Build strong relationships, resolve challenges quickly, and keep all work progressing efficiently.
• Collaborate With Project Management: Work closely with the PM team to align site execution with schedule, budget, and client expectations.
• Manage Client Communication: Act as the on-site representative in meetings with architects, consultants, and clients.
• Track Documentation: Use Procore, SiteDocs, and other tools to manage field reports, schedules, change orders, cost tracking, and more.
• Monitor Budgets: Identify efficiencies, control costs, and provide regular financial updates to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction, ideally as a Site Superintendent.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, scheduling, and quality control.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, SiteDocs, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams).
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to sites across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Must already reside in the Greater Vancouver area and be available for in-person site work
• Preferred: Availability to start immediately or within 1-2 weeks. We've got a few projects starting quickly that we need to start!
