Job summary

Our client, a well-established general contractor, seeks a Site Superintendent to join their team in Surrey, British Columbia, overseeing commercial tenant improvement projects across the Lower Mainland.

You will lead on-site activities, coordinate subtrades, and ensure safety, quality, budget, and schedule compliance, working closely with the Project Manager and clients to keep projects moving.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of superintendent experience in commercial TI construction.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing, site safety practices, and subtrade coordination.
• Experience with financial institution or bank projects is a strong asset.
• Proficiency with construction software tools (Procore, Smartsheet, Site Docs, MS Teams).

Responsibilities

Our client, a well-established general contractor with over 30 years in the industry, is seeking a Site Superintendent to join their team in Surrey, British Columbia and oversee commercial tenant improvement projects across the Lower Mainland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all on-site activities from mobilization through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule are maintained
• Coordinate and manage all subtrades, suppliers, and site logistics
• Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure alignment between site and office
• Maintain project documentation including daily reports, safety records, and progress photos
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and inspectors to address issues and keep projects moving

Ideal Candidate Profile:
