Position Title: Site Security Manager I

Duties and Responsibilities

The Air Force (AF) Special Access Program (SAP) Security Support Services (SSS) assist the AF security authority in overseeing security objectives supporting AF SAP interests through active security operations, processes, mechanisms, and management. The support includes multidisciplinary security activities, including specialized analytical and program protection support, adaptable to dynamic SAP security situations.

The Site Security Manager (SSM) is responsible for security aspects of project planning, design, and construction, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements for facility accreditation. The role involves close collaboration with planners, project managers, design teams, and construction managers to meet security policies and project requirements. Key duties include:

• Developing and implementing security plans and documentation such as CVR, CSP, FFC, SOPs, and TEMPEST documentation.
• Conducting security inspections during project phases to ensure compliance.
• Documenting violations and deviations, notifying the AO promptly.
• Working with construction teams to secure the site and materials.
• Mitigating security threats with the AO's guidance.
• Ensuring adherence to NISPOM, DCID, ICD, UFCs, and SAP policies.
• Overseeing security staff and assessing procedures for improvements.
• Providing security briefings and training to personnel.
• Ensuring timely submission of security reports and accreditation documentation.

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of related experience or 5 years of experience without a degree.
• Experience with physical security, personnel management, or construction management.
• Security certifications such as SFPC, SAPPC, SPSC, SPIPC, PSC, ISOC, ATC, or equivalent, with experience requirements as specified.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Additional safety training (OSHA) and certifications (e.g., ICD 705, Site Security Manager) within specified timeframes.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and walk long distances.
• Desired: Industry-recognized Site Security Manager certification, former Surveillance Technician, or Blueprint Reading certification.
