Job summary

Coast Essential Construction seeks an experienced Site Foreman to lead high-end residential projects across Whistler, Squamish, and the North Shore. You will oversee crews, plan daily activities, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time execution on-site.

Role Overview

The Site Foreman / Site Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day site leadership, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

This is a leadership role requiring strong organization, communication, and the ability to manage people, information, and expectations.

• Lead and manage crews on high-end residential construction sites
• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly work activities
• Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Enforce company quality standards and execution details
• Review drawings, specifications, and details for constructability
• Coordinate with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and consultants
• Clear, professional communication with team members and leadership
• Track progress, deficiencies, and quality control items
• Mentor carpenters and apprentices
• Communicate professionally with clients when required
• Identify issues early and work with the project team to resolve them

Experience & Skill Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience leading construction crews
• Strong background in high-end residential construction
• Proven leadership and crew management ability
• Comfortable and competent with computers and technology, including:
  • File management and digital documentation
  • Email, basic scheduling, and drawing review

• Clear, confident, and professional communicator
• Ability to lead calmly, decisively, and respectfully
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
• Comfortable working in client-facing environments
