Site Access Coordinator

The Site Access Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a smooth, safe, and efficient onboarding process for contractors and new employees arriving at the Cote Gold mine site for the first time. This role is the first point of contact for arrivals and plays a crucial role in maintaining safety, security, and compliance by managing access control, orientation, and training validation. The successful candidate will act as an ambassador for all site arrivals, ensuring all onboarding requirements are met before individuals access the site and begin work.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coordinate site access process for new hires and contractors: Greet and direct new employees and contractors, verify documentation, provide guidance on site rules, and develop standardized onboarding checklists.
2. Assist and guide new employees: Work with HR to confirm arrival schedules, welcome employees, conduct facility tours, and ensure they are informed about reporting procedures.
3. Coordinate and lead tours for visitors and stakeholders: Brief visitors on safety protocols, facilitate access, and coordinate activities such as meals, accommodations, and transportation with relevant departments.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements and Nice To Haves

• College Diploma in a related field
• Project Management certification or experience

Work Experience:

• 8+ years in an industrial environment
• Experience in remote camp settings
• Strong safety leadership and health & safety knowledge
• Proficiency in MS Office and site access management systems
• Organized, independent, team-oriented, with good time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the site
