Job summary

CN seeks an experienced Signals and Communications leader to oversee a designated territory, managing SandC maintenance, installation programs, and critical communications systems. The role combines field and office work with significant travel and a push for safety excellence.

The incumbent will lead a SandC team, ensure compliance with CN and FRA standards, and drive capital projects while coordinating responses to derailments and service disruptions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in SandC.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a SandC supervisory role.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SandC maintenance and installation programs.
• Ensure work complies with CN and FRA standards.
• Direct supervisors and address performance issues.
• Build safety compliance and deliver coaching.
• Plan, implement, and manage capital projects.
• Coordinate derailments and disruptions with teams.
