CN seeks an experienced Signals and Communications leader to oversee a designated territory, managing SandC maintenance, installation programs, and critical communications systems. The role combines field and office work with significant travel and a push for safety excellence.
The incumbent will lead a SandC team, ensure compliance with CN and FRA standards, and drive capital projects while coordinating responses to derailments and service disruptions.
This range represents the hiring range. Salaries are determined individually depending on skills and experience. You will also be eligible to an annual bonus, employee share investment program (ESIP), Pension, Benefits and other perks.

The incumbent is responsible for overseeing a designated territory. Moreover, the incumbent is accountable for all Signals and Communications (SandC) maintenance and installation programs, signal systems, inspection activities, and management of critical voice and data communication systems.
Management
The role involves shift work which includes irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays and a combination of office work and working outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions. The incumbent must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, meet deadlines, interface with senior management, and respond to unexpected or emergency situations. This position requires regular travel (40%) for company business, at times without advance notice.
