Job summary

Ledcor Group is seeking Sideboom Operators to join our Fort McMurray teams for upcoming construction, maintenance, shutdown and turnaround projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable industrial experience, advance your trade and build a stable, long-term career with a trusted industry leader.

Operate sideboom equipment safely and efficiently, handle pipe movements, and perform pre-use inspections while coordinating with ground crews and supervision.

Qualifications

  • Previous Sideboom operating experience.
  • Pipeline or industrial construction experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of safe lifting and rigging practices.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a crew.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Relevant operator certifications considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Operate sideboom equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Handle pipe movements, lifting, lowering, and positioning activities.
  • Complete pre-use inspections and equipment checks.
  • Work closely with ground crews and supervision.
  • Follow project lifting procedures and safety requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping duties.
