Job summary

Ledcor Group is seeking Heavy Equipment Operators for upcoming construction, maintenance, shutdown and turnaround projects in the Fort McMurray region. Qualifications

  • Experience operating heavy equipment in industrial, civil, or oil sands environments.
  • Ability to work safely around personnel and existing infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of equipment maintenance and inspections.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate heavy equipment per project requirements.
  • Complete daily inspections and maintenance checks.
  • Support excavation, grading, material movement, and site preparation.
  • Work closely with crews, supervisors, and spotters.
  • Follow all safety procedures and project requirements.
  • Assist with additional duties as required.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Safely operate heavy equipment in accordance with project requirements
  • Complete daily inspections and maintenance checks
  • Support excavation, grading, material movement, and site preparation activities
  • Work closely with crews, supervisors, and spotters
  • Follow all safety procedures and project requirements
  • Assist with additional duties as required
Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment in industrial, civil, or oil sands environments
  • Ability to work safely around personnel and existing infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of equipment maintenance and inspections
  • Valid operator certifications considered an asset
  • Valid Class 5 driver's licence
