Job summary

Ledcor Group in Fort McMurray seeks Pipefitter Apprentices for local construction, maintenance, shutdown and turnaround projects. This role offers a clear path to long-term career growth with a trusted industry leader.

As part of the team, you will assist with installation, maintenance and repair of industrial piping systems, read drawings and isometrics, perform flange work and hydro testing, and support rigging and material handling. Expect a 14/7 rotation and home every night when on shift.

Qualifications

  • Registered Pipefitter Apprentice (2nd Year or higher preferred).
  • Industrial construction, maintenance, shutdown, or turnaround experience.
  • Experience with bolt-up, flanges, valves, and piping systems is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial piping systems.
  • Measure, cut, fit, align, and assemble piping components.
  • Perform flange assembly, bolt-up, hydrotesting, and system checks.
  • Support rigging and material handling activities.
  • Read and interpret drawings, isometrics, and work packages.
  • Work safely in industrial environments while following all site procedures and safety requirements.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
