Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting a Labourer to join the team at the Delta Shop & Yard in Delta, BC. This fixed position runs on a 5 days on, 2 days off schedule, totaling 40 hours per week during the day shift.

Duties include maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop and yard, loading and unloading materials, inspecting tools, and assisting with inventory control. CSTS/WHMIS and a high school diploma are required; legal eligibility to work in Canada is essential.

• Experience using power tools
• Experience operating a Telehandler, Forklift & Elevated Work Platforms is considered an asset
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, and stretch regularly
• Capable of learning through on-the-job training
• Strong work ethic and dependable; a good communicator with teamwork skills
• Ability to point out safety compliance and regulatory issues; take appropriate actions when needed
• Reliable transportation
• Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Responsibilities
