Job description

Join a collaborative team that values precision, quality, and exceptional service. As a Shop Technician, you’ll play a key role in quality control, shipping, and receiving. Your responsibilities will include unloading and unpacking shipments of custom cabinetry and hardware, inspecting for damages or shortages, entering data into our system, and supporting shop operations as part of an offset second shift. We provide paid, on-the-job training for candidates with the right skills and a great attitude. Be part of a team transforming clients’ spaces with care and craftsmanship!

Job Details

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, 10:00am-6:30pm
• Hourly pay with overtime opportunities
• Paid vacation, holidays, and sick days
• Benefits after 3 months: Dental, health spending account, and extended health care
• Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Attention to Detail: Essential for quality control
• Basic Math Skills: Comfort with measurements, calculations, and quantities
• Strong Organizational Skills: Manage tasks efficiently and track shipments or inventory
• Physical Capability: Ability to lift and move shipments, including custom cabinetry and hardware
• Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in data entry and navigating software tools
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and address issues like damaged products or quality concerns
• Willingness to Learn: Enthusiasm for on-the-job training and developing new skills
• Experience in Shipping/Receiving: Familiarity with unloading, inspecting, and recording shipments
• Basic Woodworking Skills: Operation of basic tools is an asset
• Forklift Certification: This certification is an asset
