Job summary

Serta Simmons Bedding Canada Co. in Vaughan is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor to lead the day-to-day shipping and receiving operations, support the production team, and ensure safety and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will supervise traffic coordinators, shippers, receivers, and support staff, enforce SOPs, manage dock assignments, and drive continuous improvement using lean principles while maintaining accurate records and meeting production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day shipping and receiving operations.
• Enforce safety regulations and SOPs across the team.
• Provide coaching to staff and address performance issues with HR.
• Plan routes, assign docks, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare management reports.
• Support foundation assembly coordination and lean initiatives.
