Job summary

Serta Simmons Bedding in Vaughan, Ontario, is seeking a Supervisor for Shipping and Receiving to lead day-to-day operations in our Manufacturing/Distribution facility. The ideal candidate will manage the shipping/receiving team, ensure safety, efficiency and accuracy of material flow, and collaborate with production and logistics teams.

They should bring 5+ years of shipping/receiving experience, at least 3 years in supervision, and strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day shipping and receiving operations.
• Ensure SOPs for shipping and receiving are followed.
• Monitor route planning, truck assignment, and dock door allocation.
• Maintain physical inventory of Finished Goods and supervise warehouse operations.
• Provide training and evaluate assigned production personnel.
