Job summary

LATÉCOÈRE in Delta, Canada, seeks an experienced Logistics Supervisor to lead the Shipping & Receiving team and optimize material flow. You will manage daily operations, ensure accurate documentation in ERP/WMS, and collaborate with production and quality teams to support schedules.

The role emphasizes leadership, safety compliance, and cost-conscious logistics. A logistics-related certificate or diploma and a relevant degree are preferred, with on-site work in a manufacturing environment.

Certificate or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, warehousing, or business administration.
Associate or bachelor’s degree.
Work is performed in an office and manufacturing setting; PPE may be required.
Ability to walk the production floor and stand for short periods during inspections or observations.

Responsibilities

Lead and direct the Shipping & Receiving team to meet production schedules.
Oversee safe, accurate, and timely shipping/receiving operations and inspections.
Assign daily priorities to support production and operational needs.
Monitor attendance, timekeeping and disciplinary actions as needed.
Maintain accurate ERP/WMS records for shipments and material movements.
Coordinate with quality teams to minimize delays and discrepancies.
Negotiate transport arrangements and monitor freight costs.
Drive Kaizen, 5S and continuous improvement in logistics processes.
