Job summary

Soluroc Inc. in Lively, Ontario is seeking a Shipping, Receiving & Picking Associate to join the Shipping & Receiving department. This full-time role focuses on packing, loading and paperwork, with flexibility to float between shipping and receiving as demands require.

The Associate will support the Logistics Coordinator and Production Control, handle receiving, picking, inventory updates and safe load handling, while contributing to a strong safety culture across shifts.

Qualifications

• Read pick lists, packing slips, labels and basic paperwork.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Basic computer skills for entering inventory and shipping transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Able to work rotating shifts and overtime as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Shipping (primary focus): pack, crate, label and prepare outgoing orders.
• Prepare shipping paperwork and coordinate carrier pickups.
• Load and unload trucks and secure loads safely.
• Act as floater between shipping and receiving as needed.
• Cover for Logistics Coordinator and Production Control during absences.
• Receiving: unload deliveries, check quantities, record receipts.
• Label and store received materials in correct locations.
• Picking: select materials and staging for production or shipment.
• Update inventory and transaction records; assist with cycle counts.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse and shipping areas.
