Job summary

Soluroc in Ontario is seeking a detail-oriented student to assist with data entry for customer document packages for about two months. This short-term, part-time role offers flexible hours to fit around classes and hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.

You will enter information from source documents into spreadsheets, verify accuracy, organize documents, and support the transition to a new automated application.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in or recently completed a post-secondary program.
• Strong attention to detail with numbers and dates.
• Proficient with Excel and Word; good typing speed.
• Organized, reliable, able to work independently after training.
• Available for 20 hours per week for two months.

Responsibilities

• Enter data from work orders, inspection reports, test results and certificates into spreadsheets.
• Check entries for accuracy and completeness against source documents.
• Flag missing or inconsistent information to the supervisor.
• Scan and organize documents so packages are complete and searchable.
• Compile and format document packages to company standards.
• Assist in moving data to the new automated application, including backlog entry and testing.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.
• Perform other related administrative duties as assigned.
