Job summary

Westlake, a global materials manufacturer, is hiring for a logistics coordinator role in Canada. The position requires coordinating daily product movements with sales and customers, confirming availability, and coordinating with warehouses for orders with fittings.

You will generate required documents, pre-call customers before shipment, and perform data entry in JDE and DSI while supporting month-end inventory processes.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong numerical skills for basic calculations.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily movements of product with sales and customers.
• Confirm product availability.
• Coordinate with warehouse for orders with fittings.
• Generate paperwork (Bill of Lading, customs paperwork, pro forma).
• Pre-call customers before shipment.
• Data entry in JDE and DSI.
• Take care of pick-ups.
• Train other employees as assigned.
• Emails and phone calls to customer service.
• Research into PO issues and complete corrections.
• Track POD.
• Participate in monthly and year-end Inventory processes.
