Canada Cartage is actively seeking a Logistics Coordinator to partner with customers and carriers, ensuring top service while preserving healthy margins and revenue growth. The role focuses on expanding the customer base per the sales plan, with a hybrid work location in Brampton.

The position requires 3 years of logistics experience, a high school diploma plus certificate, and strong Excel/MS Office skills. You will handle shipments, pricing, and proactive customer communication daily.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in logistics or related role.
• High school diploma plus 1 year certificate required.
• Strong administrative experience with high-volume analytical and documentation skills.
• Experience coordinating shipments and managing logistics workflows.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite; quick to learn new software.
• Excellent customer communication skills for internal and external interactions.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Problem solving and decision-making abilities; able to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate LTL and FTL pickups and deliveries.
• Control costs and maintain profitability.
• Provide customer service including tracking and tracing.
• Select carriers and negotiate rates.
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Enter orders with costing and revenue allocation for invoicing.
