Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for the Montreal-East site. You will plan and organize shipping/receiving schedules, assist in unloading materials with a forklift, weigh metals, and direct items to the appropriate departments.

Job Description

AIMis currently looking for aShipping / Receiving Clerkfor theMontreal-Eastsite. Under the supervision of the team leader, you will be responsible for planning and organizing shipping and receiving schedules as well as performing all other related tasks.

What you'll be responsible for:

• Working closely with the logistics and transportation department
• Welcomingcustomers with courtesy while following our procedures and requirements
• Participatingin unloading materials using different types of machinery (forklift)
• Sorting and inspecting different types of metals and direct them to the appropriate departments
• Weighing metals on the scale

Qualifications

• You have at least 2 years of experience in shipping and receiving or in an industrial environment
• You are recognized for your ability to establish and manage priorities in a fast-paced work environment and to make decisions quickly
• You are able to communicate in French and English (functional)
