American Iron and Metal (AIM) is seeking a Non-Ferrous Receiver – Labourer to join the Sept-Îles team. The role involves unloading, sorting and classifying non-ferrous metals, weighing materials and preparing shipments, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial, recycling or related environment.
• Experience operating a forklift or other equipment.
• Knowledge of different types of metals.
• Ability to perform manual work indoors with occasional outdoors.
• Good physical condition and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Responsible, punctual, safety-conscious and a strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and follow applicable procedures.
• Unload, sort, inspect and handle materials.
• Identify and classify non-ferrous metals.
• Weigh and organize materials.
• Prepare shipments and incoming materials.
• Maintain site cleanliness and organization.
• Work safely and follow health and safety standards.
• Perform other related duties as required to support operations.
