You will operate a forklift and overhead crane, prepare shipments, and maintain records while coordinating with carriers and suppliers.

The role requires forklift and overhead crane certifications, strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and shipping containers.
• Coordinate freight pickups and deliveries with carriers.
• Complete bills of lading, packing slips, and other shipping documentation.
• Assist with domestic and international shipments.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
• Assist with inventory organization and tracking; maintain a clean, safe area.
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, couriers, and freight companies.
• Follow safety procedures; perform other related duties as required.

We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Shipper & Receiver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing and shipping outgoing orders, maintaining accurate shipping documentation, and safely handling materials and equipment within our facility.

This is a hands-on position in a busy industrial/manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, safety-conscious, and able to manage multiple priorities throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Valid Forklift Certification

• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently

Preferred / Asset Qualifications

• Experience with international shipping
• Knowledge of customs documentation and export requirements
• Experience preparing commercial invoices, packing lists, and other export documentation
• Familiarity with freight carriers and logistics
• Experience working in a manufacturing, machine shop, industrial, or mechanical environment
• Experience with inventory or ERP systems

Pay: $37.56 per hour
