Velocity Truck Centre Canada in Surrey, BC is hiring a Shipper/Receiver (Driver) to maintain warehouse inventory and ensure accurate shipments. The role includes loading/unloading, receiving parts, and coordinating with carriers. Training and internal advancement are emphasized as part of our culture.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, handle documentation, and drive the company vehicle when needed. Minimum 1–2 years shipping/receiving experience and a Class 5 license are required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience in shipping/receiving.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills to maintain records and orders.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Forklift experience is an asset.
• Experience in Heavy Duty/Automotive industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shipping, receiving, documentation, and inventory of products in the warehouse.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts shipments against packing slips or purchase orders.
• Label, sort, and store incoming parts in designated locations.
• Pick and pack parts orders for internal departments, customers, and branch transfers.
• Prepare outgoing shipments with proper packaging, documentation, and carrier coordination.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory transactions in the system.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the shipping and receiving area.
• Communicate with the parts team to ensure timely processing of orders.
• Participate in inventory counts and attend training sessions.
• Drive company vehicle to receive and deliver parts when required.

This role is responsible to maintain a clean and well-manicured warehouse and document inventory that both comes in and out of the branch.

Primary Job Functions

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in shipping / receiving.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced, detailed environment.
• Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail.
• Excellent Computer skills to maintain records, prepare orders, post receipts, and other computer work that may be required.
• Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift.
• Hold and maintain a valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean drivers abstract.
• Excellent communications skills both verbally and written.
• Forklift experience is an asset (training will be provided).
• Previous experience in the Heavy Duty / Large Truck industry or automotive industry is considered an asset.
