Job summary

CareerBeacon in Sussex, NB is seeking a reliable Shipper/Receiver to join the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping/receiving, material handling, and forklift operation, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

You will receive and inspect shipments, prepare outgoing loads, operate walkie and counterbalance forklifts, maintain inventory, and ensure accurate labeling and safe storage.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Shipper/Receiver

Job Type: Full-Time- Temporary to Permanent

Location: Sussex, NB
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm, weekends as needed

We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Shipper/Receiver to join our client's warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in shipping and receiving, material handling, and forklift operation, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Operate walkie and counterbalance forklifts
• Move, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse
• Complete inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records
• Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials
