Job summary

Source Energy Services in Peace River, AB is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily operations and uphold HSE standards in a full-time on-site role. You will monitor plant processes, supervise production staff, ensure training on equipment, and drive safe, efficient performance across departments.

You will support continuous improvement, maintain quality samples, and coordinate with QA/QC and Maintenance to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Understand the plant process, monitor quality samples, and analyze information. Use reason to address issues and problems. Summarize and communicate findings with appropriate staff.
• Supervise and manage production staff to include performance management, progressive discipline, attendance tracking, time-card accuracy, safety awareness, and employee development.
• Ensure team is properly task trained on equipment prior to work being performed.
• Monitor quality samples and adjust systems as needed.
• Monitor and maintain all work areas including, but not limited to ponds, roadways, WIP areas and production areas.
• Help employees achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring and evaluating job results.
• Build a cross-functional team by ensuring staff are cross-trained in various positions/departments.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of production reporting.
• Perform plant inspections, address issues, and report information to Lead Supervisor.
• Operate equipment, within scope, which may include skid steer, man lift, loader, Company vehicles, etc.
• Communicate and assist with other departments as needed; ie.QA/QC, Maintenance.
• Drive for continuous improvement initiatives and implement cost saving strategies and techniques.
• Other duties as assigned.
