Job summary

Source Energy Services in Peace River, AB is hiring a Haul Truck Operator to join our field crews.

You’ll operate 30- and 45-ton articulated haul trucks, perform inspections, assist plant operator, and support safety practices on 12-hour shifts. Training provided; prior experience is a plus.

We offer a monthly bonus program, RRSP matching, overtime pay, and an employee wellness program; two weeks on/one week off rotation.

Qualifications

What You’ll Be Doing:

Perform all duties in compliance to appropriate safety and security standards to reduce risk to employees and damage to property.

Operate various sizes and weights of Haul Truck equipment (30 tons and 45 tons articulated haul truck) and potential to learn on other heavy equipment.

Clean equipment, perform routine inspections, provide preventive maintenance on assigned equipment, and report defects to management.

Assist the plant operator to ensure plant productivity.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Who We’re Looking For:

High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience preferred but not required, training will be provided for the right candidate.

Working knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operations.
