Job summary

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Shift Supervisor in Canada to lead our team across busy shifts. You will work with the Restaurant Manager to run daily operations, ensure high standards, and guarantee guest satisfaction during rush periods.

You will train teammates on duties, food safety, and sanitation while maintaining quality, speed, and cleanliness. This role requires strong leadership, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in fast food or restaurant experience; supervisory experience a plus.
• Able to stay calm and make quick decisions in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong leadership and communication skills required.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Run shifts with focus on smooth operation during rushes.
• Assign stations and coordinate front counter, drive-thru and kitchen staff.
• Train new team members on duties, food safety and sanitation.
• Ensure food quality, speed of service and cleanliness meet standards.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally.
• Oversee cash handling, POS, cash drawer counts and deposits.
• Track inventory, waste and supply needs, help with ordering.
• Assist with scheduling and ensure shifts are properly staffed.
• Complete opening/closing checklists and shift reports.
• Enforce health and safety rules at all times.
• Lead by example and step into any station when needed.
