Job summary

GDI Services (Canada) LP is hiring a Supervisor for our manufacturing/plant operations. You will oversee production targets, lead a shift team, manage attendance and discipline, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing with supervisory experience, strong safety knowledge, and excellent data entry and communication skills. Weekend/holiday shifts are expected; forklift knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial environment preferred.
• Previous supervisory, team lead, or people management experience required.
• Experience managing attendance, performance, disciplinary matters, and employee relations issues.
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and safe work practices.
• Experience conducting operational, safety, or quality audits.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Forklift experience and/or knowledge of warehouse operations are considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
• Set up warehouse rotation.
• Account for team members throughout the plant.
• Lead, coach and support team members.
• Address attendance, discipline and employee relations concerns.
• Enforce workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Promote a strong safety culture.
• Ensure accurate communication and data entry.
