Job summary

GDI Services (Canada) LP is seeking a capable janitorial supervisor to oversee on-site staff and ensure safety and customer quality expectations are met or exceeded.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience, strong attention to detail, independent judgment, and high integrity. Schedule is full-time with night hours; on-site work in Woodstock, Ontario with potential for additional shifts as needed.

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to show judgment and to work independently.
• High integrity required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train the work of the janitorial staff on site.
• Designate shift and area work assignments.
• Manage and employee relations or performance issues quickly and appropriately.
• Document and report to management or HR.
• Inspect the jobsite regularly to identify any quality concerns or project work needed; complete and submit inspection reports.
• Identify and communicate the need for any special project work to management.
• Respond quickly and appropriately to all customer concerns or complaints.
• Enforce all safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate accidents.
• Complete training courses as required.
• Other duties as needed.

Summary:

Oversee, train, and direct the janitorial staff on site to ensure that all employees are kept safe and the customer’s quality expectations are met or exceeded.

Schedule: Full Time, MONDAY – THURSDAY: 10:45 PM – 7:45 & FRIDAY: 9:45 PM – 6:45 AM
SATURDAY/SUNDAY: WHEN NEEDED

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
