Job summary

Westlake Chemical Corporation seeks a shift supervision professional in Canada to lead a group of hourly associates toward safety, quality, and production goals. You will monitor assets, review equipment changes, and ensure adherence to quality systems, guiding a team to maintain efficiency and cost control.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Three to five years related supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Self-motivated individual with well-developed organizational, time management and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work and contribute in a team environment.
• Proficient with MS Office (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control production assets to improve efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Review and recommend changes to machinery, equipment, production systems and methods of work.
• Report deficiencies to Plant Manager/Production Superintendent.
• Record and report product damage and nonconformities.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Control policies and procedures.
• Supervise hourly employees on shift to maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate with staff and management as required.
• Provide and participate in training as needed.
