  • Familiarity with food safety standards and workplace health and safety practices.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the flow of service to ensure the highest levels of Safety, Cleanliness, Quality and Speed while simultaneously upholding Shack standards of hospitality in all interactions with Team Members and Guests.
  • Manage the Hourly Team Member lifecycle - recruiting, selection, hiring and performance through training, development and growth plans and utilize progressive discipline when appropriate.
  • Deliver an uplifting Guest and Team Member experience that ensures loyalty through solid operational execution while identifying opportunities to improve throughput and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with government health and safety legislation and internal protocols.
  • Foster an environment of inclusivity to engage the team, inspire collaboration and retain top talent.

We are currently seeking Shift Managers to fill existing vacancies at our Shake Shack London location. As a leader, the Shift Manager oversees the flow of service to ensure the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, quality, and speed while delivering exceptional hospitality to guests and team members. The Shift Manager supports team recruitment, training, development, and performance management while identifying opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency. Through clear communication and hands-on leadership, they foster a positive, inclusive work environment and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.


Job Description:
