Responsibilities

• Acts with integrity and promotes the culture, values and mission of Starbucks.
• Maintain calm demeanor during high volume periods to keep store operations on standard.
• Anticipate customer and store needs and respond to cues.
• Communicate information to manager so the team can respond to create the Third Place environment.
• Assist with new partner training and coaching.
• Provide feedback to store manager on partner performance.
• Foster a positive team environment and recognize changes in morale.
• Coach partners clearly, timely and respectfully to ensure operational excellence.
• Deliver legendary customer service and connect with customers.
• Develop positive relationships with shift team and address motivations.
• Execute store operations and manage opening/closing duties.
• Follow cash handling, safety, and security policies.
• Ensure proper cash management and follow register policies.
• Monitor baristas to ensure delivery of legendary service.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Provide quality beverages, whole bean and food items following recipes.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Recognize and reinforce team achievements and explore new recognition methods.
• Utilize operational tools to achieve shift excellence.
