Job summary

Septodont is seeking a Lead Hand 1 at our Cambridge, Ontario site to manage equipment operation, maintenance, and shift coverage. You will ensure supply readiness, coach staff on documentation, and support GMP compliance in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and problem solving to uphold quality and safety across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Leadership and frontline supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interdepartmental collaboration.
• Analytical approach to problem solving and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift changeover to maximize machinery and human resources.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
• Perform operator duties when needed and ensure supply readiness.
• Coach operators on documentation practices and ensure GMP compliance.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and coordinate with other departments.
• Enter batch records and associated documentation accurately.
