• Lead and inspire a team of retail associates, providing guidance and coaching on assigned shifts.

• Ensure all customers are greeted warmly and receive prompt assistance.
• Deliver legendary service by resolving customer inquiries per Work Authority’s values.

• Responsible for opening and closing procedures.

We currently have a Full Time Shift Lead position open at our Barrhaven, Ottawa location.

A Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of the of the retail store during assigned shifts.

This position requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Skills For Success

• A minimum of at least 2 years customer service experience
• Proficiency in using a point-of sale (POS) systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) and other retail software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Excellent decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, climb ladders safely to access elevated areas as needed, and the flexibility to stand for prolonged durations, bend and move with ease to complete job tasks.
• Candidates should be reliable and flexible to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and weekdays.
