Job summary

Allied Universal in Hamilton, ON is seeking a Security Site Supervisor to oversee daily security operations at a shelter. You will supervise security personnel, manage access, and respond to incidents to maintain a safe environment.

The ideal candidate has a valid Ontario Security Guard Licence, supervisory experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence is required.
• Supervisory security experience is required.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security team during assigned shifts.
• Ensure officers are deployed and complete duties.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the site and perimeter.
• Monitor and control access to the facility.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies professionally.
• Apply de-escalation techniques when needed.
• Complete incident and occurrence reports and documentation.
• Conduct shift briefings and share important information.
• Liaise with site management, staff, residents, visitors and responders.
• Ensure all post orders and procedures are followed.
