Job summary

S.U.C.C.E.S.S. is seeking a Part-Time Settlement & Family Services practitioner to deliver outcome-oriented settlement services for newcomers, including needs assessment, information and orientation, and employment-related supports.

You will conduct one-on-one consultations and workshops, liaising with government and community partners to connect clients with essential resources. Reports to the Senior Settlement Program Manager.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient with MS Office and web-based applications (Teams, Zoom).

Responsibilities

• Performs formal review of newcomer needs across settlement areas.
• Develops Settlement Plans and follow-up support based on identified needs.
• Performs clients’ data entry and refers to appropriate services as needed.
• Delivers one-on-one consultations via in-person, email, online or phone.
