Job summary

The University of Toronto, Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and Design, invites applications for a sessional lecturer to lead a design studio in the January–April 2027 term.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture and professional experience. Duties include content delivery, assignments, regular student feedback, grading, and supervision of teaching assistants. Salary follows CUPE 3902 Unit 3 rates, with 4% or 6% vacation pay where applicable.

Course Description: A studio-based introduction to design with emphasis upon the production of form and space and the formation of landscapes. The course serves as a hands‑on exploration of the relationships between material, tectonic, and programmatic organizations in the context of social, technological, and environmental concerns.

There is no expectation of or requirement for research or administrative service.
