Job summary
The City of Vancouver is seeking a ServiceNow Solution Architect to maximize value on the Now Platform, accelerating service modernization and AI adoption. You will lead architecture and integrations across ITSM, ITOM, CSM, and CMDB, working with Enterprise Architecture and delivery teams to design scalable solutions.
Responsibilities include governance, complex data migrations, and advancing enterprise capabilities while maintaining upgrade-safe configurations and leveraging cutting-edge tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline with 10 years of IT experience.
- 5–10 years of ServiceNow implementation experience (ITSM/CSM/ITOM) with 2–3 years in technical design and architecture leadership.
- Current ServiceNow certifications: CSA, CSDM/CMDB, CAD.
- Preferred CIS in ITSM/CSM/ITOM and ITIL v3 or v5.
Responsibilities
- Govern platform configurations with upgrade-safety focus.
- Design integrations via REST/SOAP APIs and Data Fabric.
- Lead architecture patterns and approaches on the Now Platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define scalable enterprise solutions.
- Guide best practices for incident, change, and knowledge management.
