Job summary

Lightspeed seeks a hands-on ServiceNow Developer to own day-to-day configuration, development, and support of our ServiceNow instance across ITSM and HRSD. You’ll build, troubleshoot, and extend the platform with custom development and third-party integrations.

You will work across development, staging, and production environments, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to drive upgrades and enhancements. This is a technically delivery-focused role with meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing and administering ServiceNow, across ITSM and HRSD.
• Strong JavaScript skills with GlideRecord/GlideAjax scripting APIs.
• Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, and Service Catalog.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting REST/SOAP integrations, OAuth, webhooks.
• Excellent understanding of ITSM processes and enterprise integrations.
• Able to troubleshoot complex issues across ServiceNow and connected systems.
• Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure ServiceNow across ITSM and HRSD, building catalogs, workflows, rules, and UI components.
• Build integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems using REST/SOAP, OAuth, and iPaaS tools like Workato.
• Maintain platform health, optimize scripts and flows, and ensure scalable solutions.
• Support ITSM/HRSD incidents, changes, requests, and HR workflows.
• Manage access controls, roles, and security policies.
• Act as escalation point for platform issues and coordinate with other teams.
• Deliver enhancements from requirements through testing and deployment.
• Establish reusable development patterns and platform standards.
• Assist with upgrades, releases, and documentation.
