Job summary

Lightspeed Commerce, Inc. is seeking a hands-on ServiceNow Developer to own day-to-day configuration, development, and support of our ServiceNow instance. You’ll work across ITSM and HRSD, extending the platform with custom development and third-party integrations.

You’ll collaborate with IT and business stakeholders across development, staging, and production instances, driving upgrade and enhancement roadmaps while delivering scalable solutions and strong problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing and administering ServiceNow across ITSM/HRSD.
• Strong JavaScript skills and ServiceNow scripting APIs (GlideRecord, GlideAjax).
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations, OAuth, webhooks and enterprise integrations.
• Familiarity with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, and Service Catalog development.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and troubleshoot complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and configure ServiceNow: apps, catalog items, workflows, and platform components.
• Build integrations between ServiceNow and third‑party systems using REST/SOAP, OAuth, and webhooks.
• Maintain platform health, optimize scripts/flows, and ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Support ITSM and HRSD workflows and automations (incidents, problems, changes, requests).
• Manage access controls, roles, and security in alignment with audits.
• Act as escalation point for platform incidents and coordinate cross‑team resolutions.
• Deliver enhancements and projects by gathering requirements and driving through design, testing, deployment, and support.
• Establish reusable development patterns and standards for workflows and user experiences.
• Assist upgrades and releases; test migrations and adopt new platform capabilities.
• Document technical procedures, runbooks, integrations, and user procedures; train when needed.
