Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Centre in Moncton is seeking a Service Writer to be the first point of contact with customers for service. You will discuss truck issues, outline required repairs, and coordinate with the shop team.

This full-time role runs Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with a rotating Saturday. A signing bonus of $800 is offered to eligible candidates, with benefits and career growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is an asset.
• Technical knowledge of trucks is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Must be computer literate – Outlook and Excel; able to learn a new program.
• Experience in customer service or sales is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and troubleshooting skills; team player with urgency and multitasking.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers on arrival for service and discuss repairs needed.
• Answer phone and email inquiries to book service appointments.
• Write up repair orders and document customer concerns for the mechanic.
• Keep customers informed during the repair process.
• Assess repairs under warranty and advise customers.
• Submit warranty claims and manage payments.
• Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Centre in Moncton is looking for a Service Writer.

The Service Writer is the first point of contact with customers who are in for service. You will be responsible for meeting the customer, discussing the issues with their truck, and discussing repairs that need to be done.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm and a rotational Saturday. Some evenings may be required.

We will offer an $800 signing bonus to the eligible candidate

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers when they arrive for service and discuss the repairs needed.

Answer phone calls and emails from customers to book an appointment for service.

Write up a repair order and document customers' concerns to ensure accurate information is provided to the mechanic.

Keep the customer informed while the truck is being repaired.

Check and advise the customers if repairs are approved under warranty.

Submit warranty claims into the system and ensure payment.

Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
