Job summary

Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Centre in Fredericton is seeking a Licensed Truck & Trailer Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems on Mack and Volvo heavy-duty trucks. Work with an experienced team and provide excellent customer service.

A signing bonus of up to $2,500 is offered for licensed technicians. Requirements include a valid driver's license and clean abstract, ability to operate diagnostic equipment, and proficiency with power and hand tools.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Truck & Trailer Technician (not hiring Apprentices at this time).
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
• Be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Must be able to use power tools and common hand tools to perform work.
• Able to sit, stand, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair the mechanical and electrical components of heavy-duty trucks by testing the trucks systems and components.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes.
