Job summary

Lounsbury Heavy-Duty Truck Centre in Fredericton is seeking a Licensed Truck & Trailer Technician to diagnose and repair heavy‑duty trucks. You will work with an experienced team on MACK and VOLVO vehicles, performing diagnostics, repairs, and testing to ensure top‑notch customer service.

The role includes operating diagnostic equipment and power tools, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship. Signing bonus of up to $2,500 is offered for licensed technicians.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Truck & Trailer Technician (not hiring Apprentices at this time).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
• Be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Must be able to use power tools and common hand tools to perform work.
• Able to sit, stand, kneel, or crouch for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair the mechanical and electrical components of heavy-duty trucks by testing the trucks systems and components.
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes.
