Job summary

Flaman in Saskatoon, SK is seeking a Service Technician in the Grain Cleaning Division to troubleshoot, install, and maintain grain handling equipment. You will work hands-on with electrical and electronic components to keep farm operations running smoothly.

This role values strong problem-solving skills, safety focus, and teamwork as you perform preventive maintenance, complete work orders with accurate records, and follow manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Electrician, Instrumentation, Gas Fitter, Millwright, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of grain cleaning and grain system technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Commitment to safety, organization, and teamwork.
• Clear communication skills to keep jobs running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair grain cleaning, storage, and conveyance equipment; including electrical and electronic components.
• Install new equipment and system upgrades, ensuring all units meet manufacturer and Flaman standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep downtime low.
• Complete work orders with accurate documentation and material records.
• Follow safety protocols and keep your work area clean and organized.

If you’re passionate about troubleshooting, installation, and seeing your work directly support producers, this is your kind of role.

What Your Day Might Look Like:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair grain cleaning, storage, and conveyance equipment; including electrical and electronic components
• Install new equipment and system upgrades, ensuring all units meet manufacturer and Flaman standards
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep downtime low
• Complete work orders with accurate documentation and material records

What You Bring to the Team:

• Journey Person Electrician, Instrumentation, Gas Fitter, Millwright, or equivalent experience (preferred)
• Strong understanding of grain cleaning and grain system technologies (asset)
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
