Qualifications

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate instruments with primary standards and M&TE per work instructions.
  • Repair equipment returned for repair by customers.
  • Prepare documentation and maintain records.
  • Communicate calibration data and trends to relevant teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate unusual product issues to appropriate department.
  • Maintain standards and M&TE.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, repair, and perform maintenance on measurement equipment in a service-center setting.

Job description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled electronics technician with a strong technical background to join our team. Individual Calibrates, troubleshoots, and repairs instruments and/or systems returned for service and/or repair. Typically found in areas such as service support, metrology, etc. Troubleshoots to component level.

Responsibilities
  • Performs calibrations with the various primary standards and M&TE per prescribed work instructions.
  • Performs repair operation on equipment returned for repair by customer.
  • Prepares required documentation and maintains associated records.
  • Conveys data and trends on product calibrations to appropriate person or department to assure customer satisfaction.
  • Escalates unusual product issues to appropriate department.
  • Maintain all standards and M&TE.
  • In a service center setting, analyzes, troubleshoots, makes repairs, resolves technical problems, and performs maintenance services on measurement equipment or components returned to service center by customer.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in science with focus in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or equivalent work experience –OR—BS Physics, Electrical engineering or other technical degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of electrical calibration and/or repair required.
  • Understanding of Basic metrology concept preferred. (ISO 17025)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Good attitude. Meticulous attention to detail. Works well in a team setting.
  • Good work ethics and willingness to learn and succeed.
Preferred
  • Experience using MetCal/MetTeams.
  • Experience using high end primary electrical standards.
