Job summary

Fluke is seeking an electronics technician to calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair instruments within a service center. You will perform calibrations to primary standards, generate documentation, and maintain M&TE.

Collaboration with teams ensures customer satisfaction and data trends are conveyed to the proper department. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in electrical calibration/repair, a science degree or technical BS, and familiarity with metrology concepts.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in science with focus in Electrical/Electronics or BS in Physics/Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of electrical calibration and/or repair.
  • Understanding of basic metrology concepts (ISO 17025) preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Performs calibrations with primary standards and M&TE per instructions.
  • Repairs equipment returned for service and documents activities.
  • Maintains records and communicates calibration data to stakeholders.
  • Analyzes and troubleshoots equipment in a service center setting.
  • Escalates unusual product issues to appropriate department.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled electronics technician with a strong technical background to join our team. Individual Calibrates, troubleshoots, and repairs instruments and/or systems returned for service and/or repair. Typically found in areas such as service support, metrology, etc. Troubleshoots to component level.Responsibilities:Performs calibrations with the various primary standards and M&TE per prescribed work instructions.Performs repair operation on equipment returned for repair by customer.Prepares required documentation and maintains associated records.Conveys data and trends on product calibrations to appropriate person or department to assure customer satisfaction.Escalates unusual product issues to appropriate department.Maintain all standards and M&TE.In a service center setting, analyzes, troubleshoots, makes repairs, resolves technical problems, and performs maintenance services on measurement equipment or components returned to service center by customer.Qualifications:Associate’s degree in science with focus in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or equivalent work experience –OR—BS Physics, Electrical engineering or other technical degree.Minimum 2 years of electrical calibration and/or repair required.Understanding of Basic metrology concept preferred. (ISO 17025)Good written and verbal communication skills.Able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.Good attitude. Meticulous attention to detail.
