Scarborough Toyota is seeking a Service Receptionist to be the first point of contact for customers and guests. The role involves managing a busy phone system, greeting visitors, coordinating sales support, and handling service-related payments.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma with preferred post-secondary and dealership experience. This is an on-site position with full-time hours and a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required.
• Post-secondary education preferred.
• Reception or administrative experience preferred.
• Previous dealership experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Handle incoming calls on a busy multi-line phone system and respond promptly and professionally.
• Greet guests in person and assist with sales coordination.
• Process payments for service customers.
• Support the Service Coordinator with appointment bookings and updating service databases.
• Escalate customer concerns to the appropriate manager when required.
• Provide clerical support to other departments as needed.
• Perform other administrative duties for both sales and service.

Scarborough Toyota is currently seeking a Service Receptionist to join our team of customer focused professionals within our high volume and process-driven dealership.

Purpose/Summary of Position:

As the “director of first impressions” for the dealership, the Receptionist maintains a consistently professional appearance, a friendly and welcoming disposition with customers, guests and staff, maintaining a positive and courteous demeanour in all interactions In addition to operating a busy multi-line phone system, in-person guest greeting and sales coordination, the Receptionist is also responsible for various administrative duties.

Key Accountabilities & Objectives:

• The Receptionist is responsible for handling incoming calls to the dealership and ensures all customers’ calls are answered promptly and responded to in a professional and polite manner and their needs are attended to in an efficient fashion.
• In-person guest greeting and sales coordination
• Processing payment for service customers
• Supporting the Service Coordinator booking appointments and updating Service databases
• Promptly communicate customer concerns/issues to appropriate manager when required
• Maintains a keen sense of staff on duty, who is with customers, completing retail deliveries, on lunch breaks, on vacation or absent etc.
• May provide clerical back up support to other departments as required and be assigned administrative tasks as needed
• Other administrative duties for both sales and service departments as needed

Special Requirements:

• Minimum High School Diploma
• Post Secondary preferred
• Reception or Administration preferred
• Previous experience in a dealership environment preferred
